Menken/Ashman Slated for This Coming January in Philly

I've been thinking a lot about Howard Ashman's work lately - his collaborations with Alan Menken - and the undeniable impact they had on the trajectory of the American musical theatre, and contemporary popular songwriting. It was announced this spring that a documentary is in production, taking a closer look at Ashman's life and work. Now, seems a better time than any to revisit his songs on stage in the intimate setting of a cabaret.

I've got two pretty exciting projects on deck for 2018. This one in Philadelphia this coming January and one in NYC in the spring (more on that later). Here's a little preview of the first, a collaboration with a brilliant pal from the Supper Club days, Tyler Houchins, recently making some notable waves in the Philly cabaret scene. Much more soon, but in the meantime!
